Book I’m Reading:

You Are a Badass by Jen Sincero

I read a couple of chapters of a personal development book each morning and this book has been on my to-read list for quite a while. I’m on Chapter 5 right now and not only do I love the content, I love her style of writing. She’s funny, on point and tells it like it is. This book was selected by one of the FB book clubs I’m in and I’m glad I finally started reading it.

While it’s an easy read, it is also thought-provoking which is great for my journaling. If you are just getting into some personal growth yourself, this would be a great book to start with.

Show I’m Watching:

Outlander (Season 1 & 2) on Netflix

I’m super late to this fantastic show which is very odd for someone who claims this is her favorite book of all time. We have Starz and while I saw the first couple of episodes when they were first released, I didn’t keep up with the recordings and lost them when we changed service. I was THRILLED when I learned Netflix was releasing the first two seasons and they have been my cardio entertainment as of late.

Outlander is set in mid 1700s Scotland and is based on a popular book series by Diana Gabaldon. The two main characters are played by Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe who are perfect for these roles.

If you’ve never read the books, I’m going to warn you that the show isn’t for the faint of heart. It doesn’t leave anything to the imagination which shows that it stays true to Gabaldon’s books.

I dare you to try to watch just one episode. Rather than get stuck on the couch, turn on the treadmill and before you know it, you’ll have your 10,000 steps done in a flash.

ProductS I’m Using

Dram Organic CBD

I’m alternating between their Big Mood CBD drops (1500 mg bottle) and Gingergrass Adaptogenic CBD Drops (300 mg bottle) to help with stress as well as support my immune system.

Dram was started in 2011 and is based in Salida, Colorado (already scoring some points with me right there!). It started with producing cocktail bitters, syrups and beverages before adding CBD within the past couple of years. They have some sparkling water that looks amazing but I’m holding off until I see how the drops help. However, I think they would be a great non-alcoholic beverage to have at a tailgate or to take to get together at a friend’s house.

I found this company and its products on Instagram and I will admit, the packaging sucked me in right away. Their labels are artsy and I feel calm just looking at the bottles.

I’m still figuring out how much to take based on results and they say to expect a couple of weeks of use before you can start to see some noticeable effects.

What I love about them are their clean ingredients and the price is right in the mix of most CBD brands.

Let me know if you’ve try these favorites and what you think about them. I’d love to get your take.

Have a great weekend!!
