My guest, Laura Munson, has carved out a life for herself in Montana but she happily shares it with dozens of writing retreat attendees each year.

Laura is a bestselling author and novelist as well as essayist, having one of them gone viral in the Modern Love column of the New York Times, which she still receives emails about to this day!

She is the definition of an AWEd woman. She's awake to the beauty and wonder of nature all around her; she lives well surrounded by family and friends where she belongs to no one but herself, and she’s empowered as someone who found a solution to a problem which is still providing for her in so many ways years later.
